3 April 2023 – La Cruz de Huanacaxtle. Still. We sit and wait for a weather window which all the wx guessers say will be better the later in April we wait. And so we wait.

Last night we had hors d’oeuvres and mimosas aboard S/V Thursdays Child with Debbie, Ray, Maria and Dana, and with Joanne and Scott from S/V Fundango. That filled us up and did us in so we never made it out to the dinner we promised them all for their last supper.

This morning both boats and crews departed for Nuku Hiva in the Marquesas, French Polynesia. We are sad to see them go as they were all good company.

A few days ago we took on Robert, the son of friends of my parents, as our third hand out to Hawaii. He is keen to go and leaning into the preparations so we feel like he will be an excellent fit.
