Roche Harbor

20240915 - I woke up early, around 0600. I made coffee for Jimena and me, and I prepped the boat to move to the dock in Roche Harbor. We got the deck washdown pump through hull opened.

A little earlier than planned, around 1125, we weighed anchor. Jimena hosed off the anchor chain and anchor as they came aboard, and we motored over to guest dock 28B in Roche Harbor. Jay and May weighed anchor aboard SV Present Moment and headed out to Eastsound on Orcas Island to meet friends just before we started moving.

We got tied up in 28B with help from the Roche Harbor line handlers, plugged into shore power, and I flaked the anchor chain back under the V berth and closed the deck washdown through hull then we walked up the dock to Roche Harbor,

We went for the same walk around Roche Harbor that May and Jay took us on yesterday, a walk of just over 3 miles. Our walk was just under 3.5 miles as we did not know where we were going and got off track a time or two.

After we walked, we showered then went to the boat where Jimena made curried chicken and rice for supper. After supper we planned our departure and route over to Canoe Cove for the morrow and loaded it into the chart plotter and iPad.

I called my parents who were in VA-NC, in part for the Ole Miss-Wake Forest game which Ole Miss won.

Jimena and the Michin and I went to sleep by 2130.
