New Year’s Eve in Puerto Escondido

31 December 2022 – We stayed in the slip the rest of the month of December, celebrating the New Year much as old people everywhere do: we did not do much and hit the rack early. I called my folks; they were celebrating as old people do. Jimena called her family, and they were partying. I sent texts to some friends then we bedded down early in anticipation of having to vacate the slip for the mooring field on the morrow.
