Cheeky Bastards

10 May - A few days out we had several juvenile boobies (pelagic birds which spend a lot of their time very far out at sea) landed on our bow sprit and starboard forward lifelines. This would not have been an issue except for their habit of pooping all over everything when they roost.

I went forward several times and shooed them away but they were not particularly afraid of me and always returned even after I physically pushed them off the rail.
