Back to the boat

10 June – Today was King Kamehameha Day in Hawaii. Long live the King.

I got up early and humped some things to the boat then went back to the hotel room for breakfast with Jimena, a shower and then check out of the hotel.

Henry hauled his gear to the boat in the early morning and checked out of his hotel as well.

After we checked out of the hotel, we walked down Kalakaua Ave and ran into the King Kamehameha Day Parade coming the other way. We stopped to watch and take several photos.

The King is dead. Long live the King.
